WINTER SESSION Ready to take the next step in your dog’s training journey? This upbeat, hands-on 2-day class gives you a taste of foundational obedience skills while helping you decide if you'd like to continue with a full Basic Obedience course. It’s perfect for dogs ready to build on their puppy training—or for anyone wanting to strengthen communication with their growing canine companion. For dogs 6 months and older: This class builds on the basic skills learned in Puppy Obedience (sit, stay, etc.), adding more structure, confidence, and teamwork. In this 2-day introductory session, you’ll practice: 🐾 Relaxed down time Teach your dog how to settle calmly and stay in a relaxed position. 🐾 Loose-leash walking Enjoy more peaceful walks without the pulling and zig-zagging. 🐾 Longer sit & down stays Increase your dog’s ability to hold positions—even when you step away. 🐾 Reliable recalls Help your dog learn to come back to you quickly—and happily! 🐾 Learning heel/placement beside you Build the foundation for proper positioning and polite walking. 🐾 On-leash socialization Practice calm, controlled interactions around other dogs and people. 🐾 Indoor & outdoor training Learn how to work together in a variety of environments. ✨ Remember: patience is key! Dogs in this age range are entering their “pre-teen” phase, which means they need consistent guidance. When you follow through with clear leadership, your bond grows stronger, your communication improves, and your dog becomes more confident in your direction.
