6 Week Session Requirement: Completion of an Intermediate Obedience Training Course Our 6-week E-Collar Training Program is designed to create clear communication, reliable obedience, and greater off-leash freedom for you and your dog—all while emphasizing safety, consistency, and humane training methods. This course teaches both dogs and handlers how to properly understand and use the e-collar as a communication tool, not a punishment device. Through a structured, step-by-step approach, each week builds upon foundational skills to create lasting results that carry over into real-world situations. E-collars will be available to use during class for demonstration and training purposes but will not be available for purchase. What You'll Learn • Proper e-collar fit, function, and conditioning • Clear communication using low-level stimulation • Smooth transition from leash work to off-leash reliability • Reliable obedience commands, including sit, down, place, recall, and heel • Impulse control and distraction-proofing skills • Real-world training in public and high-distraction environments Program Highlights • Step-by-step instruction for safe and effective e-collar use • Strengthens the bond between handler and dog • Builds confidence in both dogs and handlers • Focuses on consistency, timing, and fair communication • Practical exercises designed for everyday success By the end of the program, dogs will demonstrate improved responsiveness, stronger reliability, and the ability to perform commands confidently in a variety of environments.
